A decade bringing certified workforce to projects that cannot stop
Sparks Service was founded in 2014 on a simple observation: in heavy industry the bottleneck is almost never the material or the equipment — it is finding qualified, available welders and tradespeople with their paperwork in order exactly when the project needs them. A refinery shutdown that starts short-staffed loses thousands of euros for every day of delay.
Since then we have specialised in one thing and in doing it well: mobilizing certified technical crews to industrial, marine and petrochemical projects across Spain, within 48 hours. We do not fabricate or assemble on our own account — we put the right people, with the right papers, at the front of the client's project.
More than a decade on, we keep a permanent pool of ISO 9606 and AWS welders, boilermakers, pipefitters, mechanics and supervisors spread across the country's main industrial hubs. When an urgent request comes in, we do not start searching: we activate people who are already validated and ready.
Sectors where our crews operate
Our crews work in the most demanding environments of Spanish industry, where weld quality is the line between safety and accident.
Petrochemical & refining
Planned shutdowns, high-pressure piping, ASME VIII vessels at the Tarragona, Algeciras, Huelva and Cartagena hubs.
Naval & offshore
Structural construction and repair, 6G certified welding at the Cádiz, Ferrol and Nervión shipyards.
Steel & metalworking
Maintenance and shutdowns in steelmaking, heavy boilermaking and structures across northern Spain.
Automotive & aerospace
Plant expansions and tooling at the SEAT, Stellantis, Ford and Airbus clusters.
Energy & infrastructure
Thermal, renewables, data centers and large industrial construction projects.
Food & pharmaceutical
Sanitary stainless piping, finishing and traceability to AESAN/EHEDG audit standards.
How we work
Screening and prior validation
Every professional goes through document review, a practical test and certificate validation before joining our pool. We confirm the ISO 9606 certificate is valid for the process, position and material — presenting it is not enough; it must be in order and within its revalidation window.
48-hour mobilization
Once the scope is confirmed (processes, number of welders, dates) we activate the already-validated profiles closest to the site. We handle local contract, Social Security registration, A1 portable document for intra-EU posting, PPE, lodging and transport. The client only manages the technical scope.
On-site support
Dedicated supervisors take charge of the work front and answer for productivity and quality. When the project requires it, we provide an ISO 9712 Level 1 or 2 welding inspector for continuous oversight.
Traceable dossier
We deliver the full document pack — WPS, procedure PQR/WPQR and each welder's ISO 9606 certificate — before arrival on site. It is what the inspector and the insurer ask for on day one.
So the client can focus on the outcome
Our mission is to guarantee certified professionals, organised on site and committed to the deadline — so the project lead thinks about the operation, not about finding workers.
If you have a shutdown, an expansion or a project that cannot wait, let's talk: we mobilize crews across Spain within 48 hours.
